Kudu Cottages Terms and Conditions

• Registered Guests Only:

  Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. Unregistered individuals are not permitted without prior approval.

• Additional Fees:

  Bringing extra guests without prior arrangement will result in a fee per person, per night.

• Capacity Limits:

  Room occupancy must not exceed the specified limits.

• Right to Refuse:

  Management reserves the right to deny entry to unauthorized individuals or request their immediate departure.

• Violation Consequences:

  Breaching this policy may result in booking cancellation without a refund.

• Check-In Time: 15:00 - 18:00.

• Check-Out Time: 10:00.

• Flexibility:

  Early check-ins or late check-outs may be accommodated, subject to availability and prior arrangement.

• Timing:

  Payment is required at the time of booking or upon check-in.

• Methods:

  We accept card, cash, and EFT payments.

• Non-Refundable Cancellations:

  Cancellations made on the same day as the booking will not be eligible for a refund.

• Repeat Cancellations:

  Guests who repeatedly book and cancel will not be refunded, and further bookings may require management approval.

• Refunds on Approval Only:

  Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of management and must be approved before being processed.

• Processing Time:

  Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days to allow funds to clear and administrative procedures to be completed.

• No Refund for Short-Notice Cancellations:

  Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in may not be eligible for a refund, unless under exceptional circumstances, as determined by management.

• Deduction of Fees:

  If a refund is granted, it may be subject to a deduction for administrative fees or other costs incurred by Kudu Cottages.

• Indoors:

  Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and indoor areas.

• Designated Areas:

  Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

• Eviction:

  Persistent violations may result in eviction without a refund.

• Use at Own Risk:

  The pool is unsupervised, and guests swim at their own risk.

• Supervision:

  Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

• Safety:

  No running, diving, or rough play near the pool.

• Hygiene:

  Guests must avoid swimming with open wounds or infections.

• Pool Hours:

  The pool is open from 07:00 to 19:00. Swimming outside these hours is not allowed.

• Prohibited Items:

  Glassware and pets are not allowed in the pool area.

• Show Bar Only:

  The bar is for display purposes only; no alcohol or beverages are served.

• Do Not Touch:

  Guests are not allowed to move, use, or touch any items in the bar as they are the personal property of the owner.

• Respect the Display:

  The bar is a decorative feature, that was collected over many years so please admire it without interference.

• Consequences for Misuse:

  Any damage or unauthorized use of bar items will result in charges to the guest responsible.

• Respect:

  Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and avoid disruptive behavior.

• Prohibited Activities:

  Excessive noise and any behavior that compromises the comfort, safety, or well-being of other guests or staff, including the promotion or engagement in illegal or inappropriate activities, is strictly prohibited.

• Eviction:

  Violations may result in eviction without a refund.

• At Your Own Risk:

  Guests use the property’s amenities at their own risk.

• Restricted Areas:

  Access to the main house, garage, and backyard (dog area) is prohibited. Injuries sustained in these areas are not the responsibility of management.

• Cameras in Public Areas:

  CCTV cameras are installed in public areas for the safety and security of guests and staff.

• Privacy:

  Cameras are not placed in private areas, such as guest rooms or bathrooms.

• Footage Usage:

  CCTV footage will only be accessed if required for security purposes or by law.

• Pets are welcome with prior approval from management.

• We have our own pets in and around the the main house. Our pets are generally friendly and do not bite under normal circumstances. However, guests are advised to exercise caution, avoid rushing to pet them, and respect their space. By entering the property, guests acknowledge the presence of pets and agree to interact with them at their own discretion and risk.

• Reporting Issues:

  Any concerns should be reported to management promptly.

• Resolution:

  Disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable laws.

Staff may enter guest rooms for cleaning, maintenance, or other legitimate purposes while respecting the privacy of guests.
